Cyclist Backpack V01 backpack specially designed for cyclists so that they can travel at night safely

Machina has taken the cycling community by storm, making it safe to travel at night through their biking backpack

The project: Mexico City is one of the largest and most populated cities in the world. Daily, people face and adapt to the increased traffic.

Faced with traffic and pollution in Mexico City cycling provides a healthy alternative that the city is increasingly promoting. From Ecobis to bikeways, Mexico City is converting to a biking destination.

To increase bikers' safety, Machina has developed a backpack that is comfortable, durable and has built in LED lights to improve the safety of cyclists.

The creation process: The backpack is made using a fabric that holds and enables digital and electronic components and is 100% waterproof. The technological component, inner tube and LEDs, are made from recyclable materials.

The final result is a backpack that has a LED matrix each cycler can configure and use to signal to passing traffic.

What's next: We at Machina already have all the raw materials to create these packs including textiles, LED matrix, and rubber trowel. At the same time we have a team of engineers and designers committed to generating a high-value innovative product that changes environmental design.

What will we use the funds raised for?

The funds of our project will enable us to:

• Research and develop LED displays, recycling and reprogramming, and linking the technology to mobile applications
• Production of the rewards
