About the Project
My project is to create a digital aplication of Little Red Riding Hood. It is a very special version, written by Gabriela Mistral, a Chilean Nobel Prize and illustrated by Paloma Valdivia.
This will be an original an innovative application for IPAD. The user will be able to set the verses, to get into the Little Red Riding Hood's wood in three different hours of the day, and to create a new ending deciding Little Red Riding Hood's destiny. We want to "think globally, act locally". Thant's why we want to create this app with national authors but we want to distribute it through the web everywhere. That´s why this app is going to be available in Spanish and English.

Ilustradora y autora de libros para niños. Ganadora del premio internacional de ilustración BIB PLAQUE 2001, XVIII Bienal de ilustración de Eslovaquia y del Premio Municipal de Literatura de Santiago de Chile por su libro "Es Así". Seleccionada en Ilustrarte 2011, nominada a los premios Junceda, Catalunya, España y a los Premios Altazor, Chile.
Como autora integral ha publicado los libros, "Los de arriba y los de abajo" publicado por Editorial Kalandraka 2009, España, traducido a 9 idiomas y "Es Así, FCE México 2010. Este último también tienen su versión digital disponible en app Store.
Es miembro fundador del Colectivo de ilustradores Siete Rayas y profesora de ilustración en el postítulo de ilustración de la Universidad Católica de Chile y la Universidad del Desarrollo.
Su último libro ilustrado es Caperucita Roja escrito por Gabriela Mistral y publicado por Editorial Amanuta.
